Plasma Skin Resurfacing is a non-laser treatment that reduces the appearance of wrinkle, fine lines, excess eyelid or neck skin and facial volume loss. It can also further be used to treat acne scarring, stretch marks, hyperpigmentation, scarring, moles and skin tags.
How does it work?
Plasma Resurfacing is used for tightening and resurfacing the skin. It differs from other laser resurfacing treatments as rather than removing the surface layer of the skin, it stimulates a natural rejuvenation process below the top layer to tighten the skin and diminish wrinkles.
Plasma is an ionised gas which allows the escape of free electrons. These electrons are penetrated deep into the epidermis and absorbed by the skin through the use of our JETT Plasma Pen. This non-contact treatment allows deep thermal penetration for the production of collagen whilst leaving the skin completely intact, with no wounds. Plasma Resurfacing does not cause the top layer of skin to immediately exfoliate or shed. Rather the outermost layer of skin acts as a protective dressing until new skin has fully regenerated underneath. 4-7 Days post treatment, the damaged outer layer of skin will shed, revealing a plump, tightened new layer of complexion.

What will I experience during the procedure?
During the treatment, plasma energy is penetrated in the form of a cloud of electrons to the treating area with no direct contact to the skin.
Will it hurt?
A Topical anaesthetic is applied prior the produce. Clients complain of minor to no discomfort.
How Many treatments will I need?
The number of treatments depends on the individual. Most clients only require 1-2 treatments. However some may need more depending on their biological skin response to the treatment.
How long is each treatment?
30 minutes.
What should I expect after treatment?
Post treatment a rejuvenating and hydrating moisturiser is applied to the area. After 4-7 days, the skin will start to shed and reveal a more radiating, tightened complexion. Some swelling may be experienced around the treated area which can last up to a few days.
What is the healing time?
Up to 7 days.
